It has been a spectacular and passionate journey in the beauty industry which all started in 2006 when I attended a program of a renowned celebrity makeup artist, his inspiring words were enough for me to take a plunge in this gigantic ocean. I educated myself via a series of training programs across India and USA in person so that I could get a truly hands on experience in the world of makeup. Besides personal and bridal makeup I also specialized in Airbrush makeup and then went on to Fashion, Ramp and Prosthetic makeup.

Every learning chipped into my career graph and help me dive into the real world of makeup where one must understand skin tones and types and envision the look to be achieved and desired. To accentuate the look I expanded my horizons on hair dressing and completed a certified residential course at TONI & GUY Academy Kuala Lumpur as well. Being a salon owner I have thru several live practical’s from premium brands such as Moroccan Oil, Olaplex, L’Oreal, Schwarzkopf, Skeyndor and Global Keratin.

In 2013 I started my own Salon & Academy in the heart of Kolkata, Studio MeCHE which was a roaring success and the journey got even more exciting! Today, not only am I a bridal makeup and airbrush specialist but have also done makeup projects for theater, movies and photo shoots. In addition to conducting my own workshops I have also been empanelled with Temptu, USA and have educated aspiring students in institutes including in renowned institutes such as VLCC

In addition to being the MUA of choice for several movie and theatre celebrity artists, the Press and Media has also graced me with dozens of articles, write ups, talk shows and I feel truly honored and am grateful for all the love and support.
